The Department of Forest Protection and Monitoring at Siberian Federal University offers a master's degree in genomics and bioinformatics. It aims to prepare highly qualified professionals with a broad background in computational, functional and statistical genomics. The degree provides students with training in data analysis as well as hands-on experience in molecular bioligy and exposure to problem-solving using bioinformatics and genomics tools.
The head of master's program is Prof. Michael Sadovsky, the full member of European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology, The Society for Mathematical Biology, The European Mathematical Society.
